Practicing In
The Omics Era
5pm PDT, 7pm CDT & 8pm EDT
September 11th, 2017
On the back of the Evolution of Medicine's Interpreting your Genetics Summit we're excited to announce the first Functional Forum of the fourth season with a topic relevant not only to the summit but also to our practitioner community. We are thrilled to be partnering with the Personalized Lifestyle Medicine Institute (PLMI) on a number of events later this year, and for this forum we will be bringing you presentations from the PLMI conference called "Mastering the Implementation of Personalized Lifestyle Medicine, Personalized Nutrition in the Omics Era". We'll bring you the best speakers and content from this event.

One of the major goals at the Evolution of Medicine is to propel functional medicine forward as the operating system for this new era of predictive, preventative medicine and we believe that genomics is the catalyst to get us there. In the keynote address for this forum, you'll hear from PLMI Founder and functional medicine "Godfather" Dr. Jeffrey Bland. He'll be focusing on the convergence of functional medicine and omics in medicine in the next year. Video footage of Dr. Bland is used with the permission of PLMI.

The episode will be rounded out with interviews and content from some of the leaders in the practical application of the omics, doctors like David Katz MD, Molly Maloof MD, Shilpa Saxena MD, Anup Kanodia MD, and Adrian Den Boer DC among many others.

On this episode you will also hear:
- The practical application of delivering this type of medicine
- Some of the innovative models in the delivery including concierge medicine, group visit, low overhead micro-practice model
- More on digital health innovations
