The Evolution of Medicine is thrilled to announce “Immune Resilience” as the topic for our June Functional Forum. Never has there been a more important time to understand how the human body’s unique physiology makes it resilient to microbial influence, how immune resilience deteriorates over time, and what we can all do to improve immune resilience for ourselves and for our patients.
Kicking off the event is Dr. Jeffrey Bland. Dr. Bland, the godfather of functional medicine, will share the foundations of immune resilience, why it’s such an important conversation, and how the perspective of healthcare is shifting. He will help us understand immune resilience and how the fundamentals of health creation affect that resilience.
We’ll also hear from Dr. Zach Bush in his debut on the Functional Forum. Dr. Bush is a triple-board-certified physician who is also passionate about interesting subjects like regenerative agriculture. He will talk specifically about toxins and immune resilience and how the COVID-19 virus has unmasked levels of toxicity in the population.
Last but not least, Dr. Susan Blum, one of the pioneers in functional medicine and an authority in autoimmune disease, will share some of the practical tools needed to run immune resilience protocols in her practice. She will also discuss how she works with her health coach and nutritionist to combine therapies and testing to resolve immune conditions.
